The Belmont women’s basketball team rolled over Samford in a huge 83-46 win Tuesday night in the Curb Event Center.
The Bruins wasted no time outscoring the Bulldogs — leading by 15 points by the end of the first quarter and over 30 by the end of the second. Belmont never gave up the lead, and ended the game nearly 40 points ahead of the visiting Bulldogs.
Senior Kylee Smith led the Bruins with 18 points, while juniors Jenny Roy and Maddie Wright each grabbed nine rebounds.
The Bruins will head to Las Vegas to face Gonzaga Thursday as part of the Play4Kay Showcase.
