SGA seeks to appoint eight congress members for spring semester

Belmont’s Student Government Association announced its search to appoint eight congress members for the spring semester. Applications will be accepted until Jan. 25.

Read more about the application process in the following press release by President Jonathan Rankin:

“Every year, it is the privilege and responsibility of the president to appoint new members to congress when elected members are unable to continue in their roles due to class schedules, study abroad, work, etc. This spring, I will appoint eight new congress members. Deciding who would be a good fit for SGA is a difficult task, so I have created this application to move the process along. Anyone who is interested in becoming a congress member should fill this out by Jan. 25, and selected individuals will be sworn in on Feb. 4. Please don’t hesitate to contact me or any of your representatives in congress with questions!

I am excited to see all we can accomplish together this semester.”
