Basketball season came to a close for Belmont after the team lost in the second round of the NCAA tournament. Also, the tennis teams began the conference season, while Belmont baseball and softball continued conference play.

Women’s Golf Samford Women’s Intercollegiate in Hoover, Alabama
The women’s golf team finished fourth at the Samford Women’s Intercollegiate held at Hoover Country Club in Hoover, Alabama.
Three bruin golfers earned top-20 finishes at the event including sophomore Abbie Gregory who earned fifth, freshman Katie Storey and sophomore Megan Heath who both tied for 16th.
Baseball at Lipscomb
A late rally fell short for the Bruins as they dropped a 10-9 decision to Lipscomb on Tuesday.
After the Bruins scored seven runs in the top of the eighth to tie the game 9-9, two errors in the bottom of the 9th gave the Bisons the opportunity to score and win the game.
