In the back-and-forth second set, the largest scoring gap was two points for the majority of the set.

The Bruins once again held close behind the Cougars at 21-20 but four unanswered points led to the Cougars taking set two for a 2-0 lead.

After the break, the Cougars began the scoring but the Bruins took the lead at point 4 off an ace from Senior libero Jaime Lundstrom, transferring the momentum to the Bruins.

The Bruins battled through the third set to earn the win, 25-19.

The Cougars opened the fourth set with two kills but the Bruins battled back with four unanswered points to tie the set 7-7.

After the timeout, the Cougars scored five unanswered points to tie the game 18-18.

The Cougars broke away leading to a match point and the Bruins eventually fell in the fourth set, 25-21.
