The Belmont women’s basketball team crushed Trevecca 97-39 Tuesday night in a record-breaking game at the Curb Event Center.

The Bruins drained a program-high 19 three-pointers, and broke the Curb Event Center record of 17 three-pointers, which was previously held by the men’s team.
Junior guard Maura Muensterman led the Bruins with a career-high 21 points, while senior Kylee Smith led the Bruins with 12 rebounds.
Junior guard Darby Maggard also earned her 1000th Belmont career point.
Six Bruins tallied double-digit scoring, while two — Smith and junior forward Ellie Harmeyer — each earned double-doubles.
The Bruins will return to the Curb Event Center Friday at 11 a.m. to take on Presbyterian.
