Big wheels keep on turning

It may be fall, but that doesnt mean you have to stop being green when the leaves change. Riding public transportation couldnt be any easier for Belmont students, faculty and staff; riding the Nashville MTA is a free way to get around Nashville. To help you get ready to ride the bus, here are our five simple steps to make your trip an easy one.

  1. Look up the bus schedule online using Google Maps. Its the easiest and quickest way to figure out how to get where you want to go, especially if your trip includes a transfer between busses. The link above already has everything set up, just plug in your destination and go.

  2. Before you rush out the door, be sure to check the schedule for your return trip. The frequency of the buses changes as the day goes on.

  3. Make sure to get to the bus stop about 10 minutes before the listed time, just in case it comes early.

  4. Make sure you have you Belmont ID with you; just swipe the black strip and you ride for free.

  5. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride.
