It was a big night on Saturday for chronic overthinkers and Labubu fans at Marathon Music Works where D4vd continued his “Withered” 2025 World Tour.
Opener Bryant Barnes left the audience crackling with energy as they anticipated D4vd's entry in the packed room, setting the tone for the evening.
As the lights dimmed, a haunting guitar and flashing lights announced D4vd's entrance as he performed a lively rendition of track “What Are You Waiting For” from his new album “Withered.”
D4vd continued to excite the fans with some high energy songs from his new album including "Friend Again” and “Sky,” calling the latter “one of his favorite projects off the album,” then executing a backflip mid-song.
However the room truly erupted when D4vd performed emotional renditions of his older songs, “Backstreet Girls” and "Sleep Well,” while utilizing the proximity of the stage to the floor by connecting with individual fans.
While performing songs from his EP “Petals to Thorns,” “WORTHLESS” and “Here With Me,” D4vd used gifts thrown from the audience to entertain including a Hello Kitty doll and a Labubu.
After an especially passionate song with a Labubu, D4vd joked with the audience over how many “performative males” were in the audience.
However, one fan, Taylor, had an especially memorable night thanks to her Labubu as D4vd invited her on stage to sing Laufey Jónsdóttir’s part on his song “This Is How It Feels,” after noticing her hand-made doll.
D4vd continued the pattern of performing his songs with features, singing “Crashing,” featuring Kali Uchis and “I’d Rather Pretend,” which he performed alongside Barnes who made a re-appearance on stage.
He continued with songs from “Withered,” all in his signature belting, heartfelt style before launching the audience into a frenzy with a fast paced rendition of his hit song, “Feel It.”
The crowd continued to match D4vd's tone, falling back into an emotional trance during “My House Is Not A Home” and “Afterlife.”
That tone carried over to the final song of the night where D4vd, the fans and band members all poured their souls into one of his most gut-wrenching songs, “Romantic Homicide.”
D4vd ended his performance by thanking the fans before walking off stage, saying “Nashville, I have loved every minute with you tonight.”
The tour will continue throughout the year both in the U.S. and abroad.
