Welcome back to “Finding The In-Between.” This week I sat down with James Mixon, a senior at Belmont and Lumos Scholarship recipient. Mixon has been working to complete his first documentary after a summer trekking in Tanzania.
Mixon’s devotion for the culture he was immersed in was contagious. His stories brought reality to the lives mountain porters in rural Tanzania are living, the need for change and the importance of documenting their stories.
