Belmont freshman Brandon Liskey from Harrisonburg, Virginia has played baseball since his dad started teaching him at a young age.
Liskey’s father played in high school and then passed down his knowledge when Liskey was five-years-old, said Liskey.
Liskey pitches out of the bullpen for Belmont this season where he makes occasional relief appearances as one of the younger members of the staff.
“I try my best to do my job for the team,” said Liskey.
When he’s not playing baseball, Liskey can be found hunting, fishing, camping, and doing other outdoor activities.
Inspired by his mother’s career as a finance teacher, Liskey has recently switched to a finance major and plans to become a financial advisor once he graduates.
