From Greensboro, North Carolina, Hannah Diaz is now central holding and attacking midfielder for women’s soccer.
Soccer has been a part of Diaz’s life since age 5 and she wanted to keep it that way.
“I love the thrill of the game and the challenges that come with it,” said Diaz.
Diaz’s favorite athlete is Abby Wambach, the former forward for the U.S women’s national soccer team.
“She is such a legend in women’s soccer,” said Diaz.
As a music business major, Nashville is one of the factors that contributed to deciding to play for Belmont University, said Diaz.
This season, Diaz aims to be the best teammate she can. The team has its goals set to win the Ohio Valley Conference championship.
