Megan Moroney hosted a pop up at Nashville coffee shop, La La Land, on Tuesday to spread positivity, connect with the community and promote her upcoming album.

“I wanted to come out to the place that really got me started and show you guys some love,” said Moroney.

The Georgian country singer-songwriter announced the pop-up in collaboration with La La Land on 12th South early on Tuesday via her Instagram, drawing in a crowd that filled the alley and street adjacent to the coffee shop.

Greeted with excited fans, Moroney walked out to a small stage in the midst of the crowd around 2 p.m. before debuting single "Beautiful Things,” which is set to release on Oct. 24th.

“I really loved this album so much and it will always be so special to me, but I’m so excited for you to hear my next album once it comes out and “Beautiful Things” is one of my special songs to me in this next era,” said Moroney.

Moroney also shared her collaboration with La La Land, where after the show, fans had the opportunity to write encouraging messages on cup sleeves alongside a drink purchased. The sleeves were passed onto the next customer, passing along the singer's message to “be kind.”

“I just love the message she’s trying to convey to her fans of kindness…It’s bigger than just her music, and all the meanings behind her songs, it just shows she has a really good character,” said crowd member Bella Bovenzi.

In between exchanging jokes with fans, Moroney performed some of her older hits including “Wonder,” "Tennessee Orange” and “Am I Okay?” before closing out with another single from her upcoming album “6 Months Later.”

“Thank you all for coming out even though you might have school or work, and a big thanks to La La Land for hosting me,” said Moroney.

After the singer left the stage, fans filtered through the coffee shop, posing for a custom photo op for the event and wrote their messages promoted by Moroney.

“We’re from Alabama, so we got ready in like 30 minutes and drove here as fast as we could, so we could see it. It was really fun and we loved it,” said crowd member Taylor Hendrix.
