The Belmont Vision won first place for television newscast at the Tennessee Associated Press College Awards on Saturday.
The Vision won eight overall awards, including seven individual awards for staff members.
Zach Gilchriest won first place for online spot coverage.
Elia Despradel won first place for online graphics design.
Caitlin Alexander won first place for television reporter. She also won second place for television sports coverage and program, and second place for television specialized and topic reporting.
Steven Boero won second place for television sports reporting.
Cole Abshier won second place for videographer.
