12th Avenue South will be closed to motorized vehicles from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, however, Belmont students trying to enter or exit Hillside or the TK/Russell garage still have access.
Students can enter the garage by taking Caldwell Avenue to 12th Avenue South and telling the Metro Nashville Police officer stationed there they are a Belmont student, and are trying to park in the Hillside area. Metro officers are directing cars leaving and entering the garage. Drivers who enter but do not go straight to the garage will be ticketed. Leaving the garage is also still available to students, however, students will then be immediately rerouted off of 12th Avenue South.
