The Belmont men’s basketball team opened up its home season with a 90-85 win against Western Kentucky on Wednesday.
Junior forward Evan Bradds led the team with 16 points and 9 rebounds.
Sophomore Amanze Egekeze followed him closely with a 15 point contribution.
The home game saw many festivities to herald the start of the basketball season, including the University’s tradition “First on the Floor,” where freshmen students gather on the court before the game to welcome the basketball team into the arena.
