Construction crews will begin installing a four-way traffic light at the corner of 15th and Wedgewood avenues this week.
The installation is part of the development for the Wedgewood Academic Center, which is set to open in summer 2014. As part of the Wedgewood project, a roundabout will also be put in place at the corner of 15th and Acklen avenues.
The light at Wedgewood was originally set to be installed during the summer.
Once in place, the light will blink for several days to make drivers aware of it presence. According to a university post, the light should be fully operational by the week of Nov. 5.
